We live in Sawrey and I want to let you all share in how lovely it is to live here. I have lived here since I was a baby and my brother al his life. Sawrey is a beautiful place to live. We can look out our window and see new born lambs, which prance about and play all day. You can also stop by the Sawrey Stores where we get our weekly sweets. Just across the road from the shop is the wonderful Sawrey Hotel. Yesterday we went on the passenger launch, to Bowness, which was great fun. Mummy was looking at a new car as she is about to learn to drive. We are probably going to buy a blue car.
We love reading stories by our famous local author, Beatrix Potter. Our house is in one of the books.
I am reading Kingusies Kingdom at the moment which is a great read.
Today has been sunny but not very warm,. Last wekend it was warm enough for us to swim in the beck but most people who saw us thought we were a bit mad as it is only April.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place you live in. We live on the other side of the world in New Zealand on a small island called Waiheke Island. It is also very beautiful and the weather here is much nicer than in England as it never gets very cold here and we don't get any snow either. Maybe you might come and visit us some time?
